Who can join?
Current and former varsity athletes from Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Penn, Princeton and Yale, in any sport. Nobody else, at any price.
What does it cost?
Nothing. Membership is free and can’t be bought. Employers pay to post roles.
How do you know I played?
One of three ways: a personal invitation from a verified member, a verified member who knows you played, or a review by an Ivy Varsity administrator. A shared link on its own never approves anyone.
Who can see my information?
Only verified members. Athletes in your sport see your full profile. Athletes from other sports see a shorter one unless you choose to share more, and your phone and email only show if you turn them on. Your data is never sold.
Can I find a mentor?
Yes. Alumni can mark themselves as happy to mentor, and current athletes see mentors from their own program first, then their sport, then the field they’re aiming for.
How do jobs work?
Employers post roles and choose what to promise: a reply from a person within a set time, an interview for anyone who meets the listed criteria, or a role that’s only posted here. Every promise is shown on the listing before you apply. Founding Fellows see new roles 48 hours early.
Is there an app?
Yes. Founding Fellows use it now on the web and from their phone’s home screen. Their feedback helps refine the App Store version before it launches.
Is Ivy Varsity part of the Ivy League?
No. Ivy Varsity is an independent organization. It isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by the Ivy League or any of its schools.
